Gunman abducts woman from bus stop in Over-the-Rhine

CINCINNATI – A woman told police she was abducted by a gunman Friday morning at a bus stop at 1800 Vine St., in Over-the-Rhine.

The gunman took her money and cell phone and let her out a few blocks away at 2200 Loft St.

A chase ensued, and police caught up with the suspect about a half hour later when he crashed the van into a utility pole at Marshall and Spring Grove avenues in Camp Washington.

Aaron Glenn was charged with abduction and aggravated robbery and was being held at the Justice Center.

The incident started at 6:53 a.m., the 21-year-old victim said.

The man pulled up in a dark blue van, pointed a gun at her out of the passenger window and ordered her to get in.
