Thinking of buying someone in your family a smart phone for Christmas, but that $199 price tag is a little too much?
Then Walmart may have just stepped in to the rescue.
The iPhone 5C will get a huge price cut on Friday in Walmart stores, just in time for holiday shopping.
The chain will offer the phone for $27 with a new two-year contract from AT&T or Verizon, a 70% discount from the original $99 price when it was released in stores last September.
The plastic bodied cell phone hasn’t been selling as well as hoped since its release date.
Other Apple Markdowns
Other Apple products will receive a markdown as well.
The iPhone 5S is available during the sale for $127 with a two year contract.
Walmart is also offering a $50 gift card with the 16 GB iPad mini.
The prices will be in effect Friday at 8 a.m. through Dec. 24 or while supplies last. It just might make a great stocking stuffer for that special someone.
As always, don't waste your money.
