The countdown is on till Black Friday.
Not sure what to buy or when to buy it? Then you may be interested in a just-released report about some of the best deals you can expect, and when to find them.
Sure, the Black Friday rush is still over a month away, but its never to early to start planning.
The website DealNews.com says if you are in the market for a TV, tablet, or game console, it's time to start planning, because prices will fall hard as of Thanksgiving.
You don't want to buy a $700 TV next week that will be lowered to $550 around November 20th.
Among DealNews' predictions for Black Friday 2013:
-55 inch HDTV's will drop to $429, from around $700 currently.
-60 inch Plasma HDTV's will fall to $529, from $800.
-47 inch LCD HDTV's (which used to be considered "big") will sell for as low as $269.
-32 inch LCD TV's, perfect for bedrooms, will drop as low as $179
Tablets, Video Game Consoles:
-Google's Nexus 7 tablet will sell for $200.
-Apple's iPad, current generation, will go on sale for $339.
-Microsoft's XBox 360 will fall to $189, as the new Xbox One goes on sale.
-Sony's Playstation 3 will drop to $200, again with a new one coming out.
However, Deal News says don't plan on deals on the new PS4 or XBbox One: they will be in very limited supply.
Doesn't that Stink?
But from the doesn't that stink file, the fact that you are going to have to line up earlier than ever this year to get those deals!
With Macy's talking an 8p.m. start time on Thanksgiving, 8:00 has become the new midnight.
At Toys r Us, Walmart, Target and many other stores, the deals start right after dinner time, so forget about the pumpkin pie. (Toys r Us opened at 8p.m. last year, Target at 9p.m.)
Bottom line: The days where the big deals started Friday morning are over: Black Friday is now Thanksgiving night.
The good news is there is no need to stand outside all night long anymore. That way you don't waste your time and you don't waste your money.
