It was inevitable, after more and more department stores jumped aboard the Thanksgiving night 8 p.m. bandwagon.
Cincinnati's Kenwood Towne Centre confirms to WCPO.com that it will open all its doors on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. for the first time ever.
This comes after the mall's anchor Macy's announced an 8 p.m. start for Black Friday.
Joining Kenwood with an earliest-ever opening are Cincinnati's Eastgate Mall, and Northgate Mall.
Tri-County Mall was not yet ready to comment, when we called.
With Macys, JC Penney and Kohl's planning 8 p.m. openings, it only makes sense for malls everywhere to open their doors and corridors at the same time.
It's important to note the local malls are not requiring smaller stores to open as well, which means many of them will remain closed until Friday morning.
However, some may decide to open as well, which means a lot more mall employees will have to cut their Thanksgiving dinners short.
