CINCINNATI - We are pleased to bring you this weekly feature from Julie Niesen Gosdin, the voice behind the food blog wine me, dine me. Julie serves up a "Pick of the Week," when she visits a local eatery and samples a signature menu item.
One of the most beautiful restaurant spaces in town, this isn't your mom and dad's Maisonette, the classic Cincinnati eatery that's now in the history books. Think luxe fixtures with a refined, yet still approachable atmosphere: The food is haute, the wine list impeccable, but the bartenders wear (nice) jeans.
I'm a huge fan of happy hours: they don't necessarily need to be the discounted ones; simply a time to grab a bite and a beverage after work.
Become a WCPO Insider to hear how a memory of food from a now-shuttered Cincinnati eatery is reborn at Boca. Feast your eyes on the delectable Pommes Souffle. And, see where Benedict Cumberbatch comes in!
