Montgomery Inn now wears two crowns: The Ribs King, and best eat-in restaurant in Cincinnati.
Montgomery Inn won WCPO's inaugural Meal Madness tournament, narrowly beating out N.Ky. Cajun favorite Dee Felice in the Table for Two final round with 55 percent of the vote.
We asked the Tri-State to vote in an NCAA Tournament style to find the reigning restaurant champ of the region, and after thousands of votes, The Ribs King holds true to its reputation, capturing the Tri-State's attention as the best restaurant in Cincinnati.
In the bracket were 64 restaurants unique to the Cincinnati area that are not predominantly chains, selected after evaluating reviews, reputation, experience and popularity. Not included were common food items like deli sandwiches, wings and pizza, and any chili restaurants.
In addition to taking down Dee Felice, Montgomery Inn also got past Cincinnati start-up-gone-national Tom+Chee, Anchor OTR, Northside's Melt and Oriental Wok.
Congrats to Montgomery Inn!
