Is Facebook bad for single women?
That’s what the author of dating books, Zoe Strimpel, says. The singles guru thinks that seeing photos and updates of friends getting married, having babies and seemingly “perfect” lives can lead to—wait for it—friend envy.
And that would be bad for your health.
Strimpel said, speaking at a conference about how to be a happy single, that Facebook lends itself to stalking potential dates, which is a “corrosive” way to find a relationship.
The writer suggests single gals ditch Facebook altogether if the experience online turns depressing.
Is Facebook fun or depressing for single gals? And guys, have you been stalked by a woman on Facebook? Tell us in the comment box below.
