MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Artists from all over the state hope to have their work selected every year into the Ohio Watercolor Exhibition. At the same time, insiders at the Middletown Arts Center see an important opportunity in hosting the touring show.

This is the 36th annual juried exhibition and the first time since 2007 that it has passed through the Middletown Arts Center. Middletown is one of just five cities on the exhibition's touring schedule.

In this video, from the exhibition's opening reception, we talk with local artists who are part of the show and with the arts center's director about what this exhibition means for audiences there.
