CINCINNATI -- One of Cincinnati’s newest breweries is getting a little love from a national publication.
The Elm Street brewery came in at No. 7 on the website’s list.
RateBeer is one of the most-visited beer websites in the world. The site is a forum for beer lovers and advocates to rate beers and share opinions or news. The volunteers who post to the site rate and debate hundreds of beers from all around the world.
However, the ranking isn’t the only reason for Rhinegeist to celebrate. The brewers just started canning their “Cougar” blonde ale and “Truth” IPA.
According to the brewery’s Facebook page , the six-packs will be available at:
- Jungle Jim's - Eastgate & Fairfield
- Whole Foods - Rookwood & Mason
- Remke - OH stores
- The Lackman
- Market Wines
- Neon's Famous Unplugged
- Cappy's - Loveland
- Country Fresh Market
- Wine World
- Dilly Deli
- Jeff Ruby's
- Carlo & Jonny's
More locations will be added as production allows, the brewers said.
The addition of the six-packs was made possible by a recent expansion at the brewery. In December, Rhinegeist announced that it had added two 80 bbl fermenters allowing them to brew up to 8,000 barrels per year.
