When it comes to music, it can’t get much more underground than this.
Cincinnati's underground scene is coming together this weekend for a first of its kind event in Ubahn Music Festival , featuring A-list acts in one of the most unique venues in the city -- the transit tunnel underneath Second Street.
Organizers said the name “Ubahn” pays tribute to Cincinnati’s German heritage as it is the name of underground transit in German.
A-list acts such asa Mike Posner and A-Trak headline a long list of electronic and hip-hop music Friday and Saturday. There are 30 additional performers , as well.
Even if you're not into the jams, you might consider going just for the scenery.
The event also features food trucks, live skating and BMX riders on site and 45 vendors selling various bits of art, Americana and other wares.
You can get one-day tickets for $20 or two-days for $30.
The event runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
