Where did you go to college? Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio. Bachelor of Arts in English, 1990

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? 38 Emmy awards in four regional chapters, including two Emmys in New York, and 31 since joining 9 On Your Side in 2007, including Emmys for investigative reporting, photography, and editing.

Three combat reporting tours in Iraq and Kuwait, including two assignments embedded with the US Army.

What are you most proud of in your own life? Serving as emcee for several annual charity events, primarily those involving cancer research because I lost two brothers and both parents to cancer.

What do you love about living in the Tri-State? This is a great place to raise a family. Top-notch schools for our kids, lots to do with the family.

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions? Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Zoo, Downtown, Kings Island, The Banks, Over The Rhine.

All time favorites? Shawshank Redemption. The Alienist. U2. The Newsroom. House of Cards.
