Winter Storm Warnings expire in Tri-State

A Winter Storm Warning issued for Tri-State communities expired 1 a.m. Saturday.

WCPO meteorologist Sarah Walters said snow accumulations measured from 3 to 6 inches. Sleet and freezing rain also fell.

The rain changed to a wintry mix, then to snow on Friday. Snow tapered off Friday night. Hazardous driving conditions occurred through the Tri-State.

The following areas were under various warnings and advisories before the storm:

Ohio: Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, Pickaway, Ross, Warren

Kentucky: Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Kenton

Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, Ripley, Ohio, Switzerland

Indiana: Fayette, Union, Wayne

Kentucky: Bracken, Grant, Owen, Pendleton
