Wild horses shut down traffic on I-74

CINCINNATI — Have you herd? A group of horses shut down traffic in both directions on I-74 near Morgan Road after escaping from a farm Wednesday afternoon.

Samantha Pederson was in the passenger seat when she saw the four steeds hoofing it on the interstate.

“It was kind of scary,” she said. “At first, I didn’t know if they would bump into the car or what exactly was gonna happen.”

After more than an hour of backed-up traffic, the horses were safely corralled by authorities and removed from the scene. No humans or humans were hurt in the incident.
