CINCINNATI -- The sharply curved quarter-mile stretch of Columbia Parkway (U.S. Route 50) just east of Columbia-Tusculum will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Construction crews will be applying a high-friction surface coat of specialized pavement to improve safety along the curve.
Motorists heading westbound on Columbia Parkway will be detoured via Linwood Avenue. Those heading east will be detoured via Stanley Avenue to Kellogg Avenue.
Law enforcement officers will be stationed at both ends of the closure to help direct motorists and maintain safety during the operation.
