Those driving along I-71 in Warren County on Tuesday and Wednesday might see delays during their morning drive.
On Tuesday, the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the right lane of northbound I-71 from 7:30 a.m. to noon, followed by the closure of the right southbound lane during the same period on Wednesday near the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge.
The lane closures are part of an ongoing bridge replacement project along the heavily trafficked stretch of interstate.
Signs will be posted along both directions of the highway alerting motorists about the upcoming road work and lane closures.
The first span of the new interstate highway bridge was completed in November. The second span is expected to be opened by May 2016.
The estimated construction cost of the new bridge is about $88.1 million.
