Cincinnati ranks in top 50 for worst traffic congestion

CINCINNATI - While it may seem like you sit in traffic forever, a new report is letting you know just how much time each year you are wasting in traffic.
A Washington state firm, called Inrix, released it annual scorecard of the top congested metro areas and Cincinnati ranked 36th on the list of most congested 100 metro cities. It also found that Cincinnati drivers wasted an average of 12 hours in traffic in 2011.
Overall, the report found traffic congestion is down 30 percent in the last year. It sites high gas prices and the economy for the reduction.
The most congested city was Honolulu, followed by Los Angeles and San Francisco.
