Where else have you worked?
This is my first full-time job out of college! But I have previously interned at The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Indiana House of Representatives and The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs. I was also Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper.
Where did you go to college?
I graduated from Butler University in December of 2014. I studied journalism, political science and English.
(No "Where did you go to high school?" I'm stunned! I’m a proud Little Miami alumna)
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I love that I've been able to play a part in some really fun and innovative projects while working at WCPO.com. Whether it's a new interactive tool or a new way of telling a huge, complex story, I love when my crazy-seeming ideas are able to come to life. Better yet, I love when those stories can make people laugh, think or better understand something important impacting our communities.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State?
The biggest reason that I wanted to come back to the Cincinnati area is because my family is here. I have five younger brothers, and I am so happy that I won’t have to miss any of their youth football games or chorus concerts ever again.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
I love going out with friends to Mt. Adams, Newport, Over-the-Rhine, Mainstrasse, or, on game days, The Banks. Summertime concerts at Riverbend are always a blast, and it’s sort of become a tradition for my family to go ice-skating at Fountain Square in the winter. I’m always down for a Reds game, Bengals game, or a Cyclones game.
