I've worked at TV stations in Cincinnati, New Orleans and Sacramento, and in the Communications Office at the City of Cincinnati.
Where did you go to college?
Loyola University New Orleans
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I'm humbled that neighbors trust us to share their stories with the world. It's a tremendous responsibility, and you've got to get it right every time. It's a privilege to be part of a team that works hard every day to earn and maintain that trust.
What are you most proud of in your own life?
I'm very lucky to have an incredible husband who supports me and helps me grow to be a better person; I still can't believe anybody would agree to put up with me for a lifetime. Other than that, we live with seven cats, all strays we've found & adopted. I'm proud we can give them a clean place to live, a warm place to sleep and plenty of food to eat. (And, in the immortal words of Bob Barker: Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.)
What do you love about living in the Tri-State?
Our diverse neighborhoods, the arts, the parks, the historic architecture and the great wilderness nearby are all amazing. But what I love most is being near family and friends, and seeing Cincinnati evolve into a more open and diverse place. It's amazing (in a good way) how different the city is than when I left for college.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
I'm a bit of a homebody, but when I do get out: Market Wines, Ruth's Parkside Cafe, French Crust, Washington Platform, Vitor's, Henke Winery, College Hill Coffee Co. (best coffee cake), Quatman Cafe (best cheeseburger), and Sky Galley (to watch planes and eat chicken livers). Still searching for Cincinnati's best fried chicken and falafel (though not necessarily together).
Let's stick to movies: The Royal Tenenbaums, The Lost Boys, Halloween, Lethal Weapon, The Broken Hearts Club, Kill Bill, The Silence of the Lambs, Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade, Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban
