WATCH: Broo talks high school football with Lakota West coach Larry Cox, Elder Doug Ramsey

There’s little that gets Tri-State sports fans more riled up than the start of the high school football season.

Friday night lights, school rivalries, five-star recruits, homecoming games, breakout performers, conference titles, and, most importantly, annual bragging rights.

And the waiting is over. The official beginning of the 2014 campaign is here. And so is Ken Broo to get you ready.

The host of Sports Of All Sorts sat down with a couple of high school coaches who have championship trophies in every corner of their respective offices -- Lakota West coach Larry Cox and Elder top dog Doug Ramsey.

Broo, Cox and Ramsey discuss their squads, the Skyline Crosstown Showdown and the state of high school football in the Tri-State. You can watch the seven-minute segment in the media player above.
