CINCINNATI - ESPN is reporting multiple sources are telling them that Bengalsquarterback Carson Palmer wants out of Cinicnnati via trade orretirement.

He wants out bad enough, writer Chris Mortenson says, thatPalmer is willing to retire if the Bengals will not trade him.Mortenson says that Palmer is telling people that he's financiallysecure and if he can't get out of Cincinnati by trade, he's willingto walk away.

Mortenson also quotes a Bengals official as saying "Nocomment".

It is expected that the Bengals will have a significantlydifferent roster compared to this past year when the team went4-12, giving them the 4th pick in the upcoming draft. As of rightnow, the Bengals have Carson's brother, Jordan Palmer and DanLeFevour as backup quarterbacks. Neither has seen any significantNFL playing time.
