Patriots star to appear at Walnut Hills in June

CINCINNATI — New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will attend the Walnut Hills Touchdown Club Sports Night June 25 at Walnut Hills High School.

The social hour begins at 6 p.m., with the dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner will be catered by Montgomery Inn. There will also be a silent auction with sports memorabilia.

Edelman, who was college roommates with Walnut Hills football coach Brian Lainhart at Kent State, is in his eighth season with the Patriots. Edelman caught the game-winning, 3-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ 28-24 win over Seattle in Super Bowl XLIX in 2015.

Space is limited to the first 350 for the Walnut Hills event and guest must be 21 years or older.
