Pat Goedde waited 26 years for his opportunity. Once the news arrived Monday night, he couldn’t be happier to be the next La Salle varsity basketball coach.
Goedde, 1991 La Salle graduate, discusses the support he received over the past couple of weeks from former players and alumni as he went through the interview process for the opportunity to succeed Dan Fleming.
Goedde, the junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant since 2003, also discusses his first steps as the head coach including a scheduled meeting Thursday with the players.
