Two Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown games are receiving the national spotlight this weekend at Nippert Stadium.
MaxPreps.com listed Colerain versus Warren Central (Ind.) and St. Xavier vs. St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) on the list for the 10 football games to watch in the nationthis week.
Colerain, ranked No. 13 nationally by MaxPreps, has a rematch with Warren Central set for 1 p.m. Saturday.
St. Xavier, which has the toughest schedule in the nation according to the USA Today computer rankings, plays MaxPreps No. 9-ranked St. John Bosco at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
Colerain plays at St. X at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 in the final game of a home-and-home agreement.
