Conner scored on five of its first seven plays from scrimmage en route to a heat-shortened 40-7 win over Boone County at Thomas More on Saturday.
Senior quarterback Drew Barker completed 8-of-11 passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns, and he added four carries for 162 yards and a pair of scores, accounting for all seven Cougars TDs.
The game, which was moved up two hours to avoid the mid-afternoon heat, was still called at halftime because of a heat index that exceeded 100 degrees.
