Indians' Schrands tie for medalist honors

   Sophomore Leighton Schrand and eighth-grader Nolan Schrand tied for medalist honors to lead Holy Cross past Brossart, 172-181 on Monday.

   It was the third time medaling for each this season.

   MEDALISTS: L. Schrand (HC) and N. Schrand (HC), 6-over 41s on the front nine at Twin Oaks. RECORDS: Holy Cross 4-3-1, Brossart 2-7.

   CONNER 178, SCOTT 195 – Senior Jacob Eberhard medaled for the eighth time this season to pace the Cougars.

   Eberhard led all golfers by two strokes.

   MEDALIST: Eberhard (C), 4-over 40 on the front nine at Kenton County Willows. RECORD: Conner 9-2.

   HIGHLANDS 160, COOPER 173 – Junior Parker Harris birdied two holes en route to his match-leading even-par 36,

   Harris has medaled three times this season.

   MEDALIST: Harris (H), 1-over 36 on the front nine at Highland Country Club. OTHER GOOD SCORES: Yost (C) 38, Buten (H) 39. RECORDS: Highlands 7-1, Cooper 3-7.
