Cooper set two individual school records on Wednesday as the Jaguars (7-2) defeated Boone County (2-1), 25-10, 25-21, 27-29, 21-25, 15-7.
Freshman middle hitter Katie Smith established a new Cooper high in kills with 27, and she added five blocks.
Junior setter Julia Klute also set a Jaguars mark with 47 assists, and she also recorded 18 digs.
Senior Sara Sutton tallied 14 kills, and junior Katie Grant racked up 12 to pace the Rebels.
LUDLOW SINKS LATIN – Junior outside hitter Tyler Smith rolled up four kills and served for eight aces as Ludlow (6-3) defeated Covington Latin (1-6), 25-7, 25-17, 25-10.
Panthers junior libero Cymphony Macaraniag added four aces and three digs, and sophomore right side hitter Mariah Murphy also finished with four aces.
DIXIE DOWNS BROSSART – Junior outside hitter Samantha Charley totaled seven kills as Dixie Heights (3-8) defeated Brossart (4-2), 25-20, 25-21, 17-25, 25-15.
Another junior – middle hitter Bailey Staderman – served for five aces in the Colonels’ win.
