Notre Dame (13-3) needed three games in its best-of-3 series to get past Simon Kenton (19-6), 25-11, 21-25, 25-13 on Wednesday.
Senior outside hitter Heidi Thelen led the Pandas with eight kills.
The Pioneers were paced by senior outside hitter Kaitlin Murray, who had eight kills, and junior libero Kelsey Schmiade, who finished with 17 digs.
RYLE TOO MUCH FOR TATES CREEK – Junior outside hitter/setter Ashley Bush tallied eight kills and 12 assists as Ryle (18-3) defeated Tates Creek (17-4), 25-22, 16-25, 25-18.
Raiders senior middle blocker Alexa Nichols added six kills, and freshman outside hitter/setter Hayley Bush – sister of Ashley Bush – recorded six kills and nine assists.
SCOTT SINKS SILVER GROVE – Eighth-grade outside hitter Kelly Franxman rolled up six kills, five aces and seven digs as Scott (17-11) defeated Silver Grove (1-10), 25-13, 25-10, 25-6.
Senior defensive specialist Ashleigh Fields served for six aces, and sophomore outside hitter finished with five, plus eight kills and six digs for the Eagles, who won their fifth straight match.
DIXIE DOWNS LUDLOW – Junior right side hitter Samantha Charley served for nine aces as Dixie Heights (7-21) defeated Ludlow (9-5), 25-4, 25-20, 25-13.
Seventh-grade outside hitter Leah Metzger added seven aces for the Colonels, who snapped a four-match skid.
BEECHWOOD HAMMERS HOLMES – Senior setter Jenna Fessler tallied three kills and eight assists as Beechwood (9-5) defeated Holmes (2-12), 25-13, 25-9.
Two more seniors – setter Jasmine Stokes and outside hitter Taylor Weibel – keyed the Tigers’ win. Stokes served for four aces and Weibel racked up seven kills.

Junior right-hander Hayden Molitor went the distance to earn his second win of the season as Lloyd edged Ludlow.
Senior right-hander Rachel Carroll tossed a one-hitter as Campbell County blanked Lloyd.
Sophomore Nathan Eberhard battled to a first-singles win as Conner shut out Campbell County, in an NKAC semifinal.
Junior center fielder Blaise Ostertag doubled in two in the bottom of the fourth to lift Conner to a win over Scott.
Freshman center fielder Hailey Nicholas singled up the middle with no outs in the bottom of the eighth to lift Cooper to a win over Campbell County.
Sophomore Sheldon Preisler won his eighth straight match to open the season as Boone County edged Lloyd, 3-2 on Wednesday.
Sophomore Erin Mogus remained perfect through five matches with her win at third singles as Cooper shut out Covington Latin.
Eighth-grader Curtis Kalbaugh improved to 7-0 on the season with a win at second singles as Ryle shut out St. Henry.
Conner coach Brad Arlinghaus set the school record for coaching wins as his Cougars beat Ryle.
Junior designated hitter Chelcey Broughton singled home two to put Simon Kenton ahead for good in a win over Grant County.
