Sophomore Sean Malone scored the tying goal 12 minutes into the second half as Villa Madonna and Holmes played to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday.
Malone scored on a 30-yard shot from straight on to lead the Blue Lightning to their first non-loss of the season.
Senior midfielder Austin Gullett hooked in a shot from the right side of the field with 16 minutes left in the first half to give the Bulldogs the early lead.
