Junior outside hitter Sarah Krugel and freshman outside hitter Paige Noble recorded eight kills each as St. Henry (17-7) defeated Brossart (9-7), 25-13, 25-22 on Wednesday.
The Crusaders, playing their first match since winning the state All ‘A’ championship on Saturday, extended their winning streak to 10 matches.
SIMON KENTON DOWNS CONNER – Senior outside hitter Kaitlin Murray racked up six kills as Simon Kenton (14-3) defeated Conner (6-10), 25-23, 25-19.
Senior setter Sophie Dunn dished for 18 assists, and junior middle hitter Amarah Nicholson added six blocks as the Pioneers won their seventh straight match.
Freshman setter Deandra Atwood – daughter of Simon Kenton coach Andrea Atwood – led the Cougars in assists with eight.
Senior outside hitter Olivia Barb tallied 15 kills for Conner.
RYLE ROLLS PAST SCOTT – Junior outside hitter and setter Ashley Bush tallied 12 kills and 22 assists as Ryle (15-3) defeated Scott (12-9), 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.
Freshman outside hitter/setter Hayley Bush finished with 12 kills and 16 assists for the Raiders.
Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Tapp led the Eagles with 10 kills.
CAMPBELL SINKS LLOYD – Junior outside hitter Emily Rich finished with eight kills as Campbell County (10-7) defeated Lloyd (10-8), 25-17, 25-9.
Junior outside hitter Kirby Seiter served for six aces as the Camels won their fifth consecutive match.
