Sophomore defensive specialist Holly Kallmeyer chipped in with 14 digs as the Eagles won their fifth straight match.
COOPER BEATS CONNER – Freshman middle hitter Katie Smith recorded 10 kills as Cooper (12-4) defeated Conner (4-8), 25-14, 25-17, 25-13.
Junior libero Jessica Fortner added 15 digs, and junior setter Julia Klute tallied 23 assists for the Jaguars.
LIGHTNING TAKE DOWN HERITAGE – Senior middle hitter Ellie Stoddart rolled up 17 kills as Villa Madonna (5-2) defeated Heritage (1-6), 25-10, 25-3, 25-6.
Junior setter Charissa Junker dished for 16 assists, and sophomore middle hitter Emma Bateman served for 13 aces in the Blue Lightning win.
LUDLOW SINKS SILVER GROVE – Junior outside hitter Tyler Smith tallied four aces and seven kills as Ludlow (7-3) defeated Silver Grove (1-7), 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.
Panthers eighth-grader Morgan Jones and freshman Haley Turner combined for 19 assists and three aces playing at setter for the first time in their careers.
DAYTON TOPS BELLEVUE IN 5 GAMES – Dayton (5-7) needed five games to get past Bellevue (4-7), 21-25, 27-25, 25-16, 24-26, 15-6.
The Tigers were led by sophomore middle hitter Kira Ross, who had 13 kills, and senior outside hitter Hannah Rechtin, who finished with 10 digs.
