   Junior striker Paulette Mosier scored the first two goals of Villa Madonna’s 3-0 win over Covington Latin on Friday.

   Mosier’s goals came 10 minutes apart in the first half.

   Senior Alex Hengge stopped 12 shots to earn the shutout, her first solo blanking of the season.

   HALFTIME: Villa Madonna, 2-0. GOALS: VM—Mosier 2, Bateman. SHUTOUT: Hengge (12 saves). RECORDS: Villa Madonna 3-0, Covington Latin 1-2.

   CONNER 3, GRANT COUNTY 0 – Junior midfielder Kierra Dages found the net twice in the Cougars’ win.

   Dages scored early in the first half, and added another goal after the break to seal the match.

   Junior Jessica Fraiture turned six shots aside to earn the shutout, including a penalty kick 16 minutes into the first half on a red card.

   The Cougars played with 10 the remainder of the game.

   Conner’s other goal came from freshman defender Emma Von Lehman, the first tally of her career.

   HALFTIME: 1-0. GOALS: C—Dages 2, Von Lehman. SHUTOUT: Fraiture (6 saves). RECORDS: Conner 1-1, Grant County 1-1.
