Senior Drew McDonald tied a season low by shooting a 33 as Newport Central Catholic beat Cooper, 155-190 on Thursday.
It was the second consecutive time firing 2-under for McDonald, who has medaled four times in five Thoroughbreds matches this season.

HOLY CROSS 173, SCOTT 209 – Senior Dalton Burger medaled for the first time in his career, shooting a 39 to pace the Indians.
Burger, who recorded his lone birdie at hole 13, topped the field by four strokes.

GRANT COUNTY 155, PENDLETON COUNTY 180 – Senior Cody Kellam led all golfers by four strokes to earn medalist in the Braves’ first dual match of the season.
Kellam, who has also won two 18-hole tournaments, made birdie on holes 3 and 6 and recorded just one bogey.

DIXIE HEIGHTS 178, CONNER 216 – Sophomore Zach Anderson earn his first medal of the season in the Colonels’ win.
Anderson was two strokes better than the field.
