5/7 BASE: Holy Cross walks off vs. Grant

Seibert single plates winning run in seventh

Junior shortstop Jared Seibert singled with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to give Holy Cross its first walk-off win of the season, 4-3 over Grant County.

The Braves led, 3-2 entering the bottom of the sixth, but senior third baseman Trevor Niehaus scored the tying run on an error in that frame.

Senior right fielder Tyler Hoog and Niehaus both belted RBI base hits in the bottom the first to produce the Indians’ first run.

Holy Cross senior right-hander Jake Ketron went the distance, holding Grant County to two hits and one earned run en route to his first win of the season.
