Raisor dominates in first career start

Sophomore right-hander Ricky Raisor threw a no-hitter in his varsity debut as Highlands blanked Newport, 13-0 in a District 36 semifinal on Wednesday.

Raisor walked just one and struck out nine.

Junior designated hitter Kenny Ball doubled home two runs to key the Bluebirds’ four-run first inning. Senior second baseman Evan Allen plated two with a base hit in the fourth.
