Garnett-Eberhard duo take decisive match

Seniors Casey Garnett and Jacob Eberhard won the deciding match at first doubles as Conner edged Ryle, 3-2 on Wednesday.

The duo, which won its tiebreaker, 7-4 in the second set, improved to 10-3 on the season.

COVINGTON CATHOLIC 4, LEXINGTON CATHOLIC 1 – Colonels defending state champion junior Austin Hussey lost just one game in his win at first singles.

After losing the first set, 6-2, the second doubles team of senior Nathan Wichmann and sophomore Jake Haught rallied to a 6-4 win in the second set and a 10-6 win in the tiebreaker.
