4/22 BASE: Holmes' Neace throws no-hitter

Junior also drive in 2 for the Bulldogs

Junior left-hander Jalen Neace threw his first career no-hitter as Holmes blanked Newport, 10-0 on Tuesday.

Neace fanned six, and he tripled in two runs in the fourth inning to give the Bulldogs a 9-0 lead.

CONNER 6, WYANDOTTE (Mich). ROOSEVELT 3 – Junior third baseman Jeff Schneider plated two runs to pace the Cougars.

Schneider plated one on a fielder’s choice in the second inning, and he singled in another run in the fourth.

Conner sophomore second baseman Kyler Padgett also drove in a run in the second with a base hit.

CAMPBELL COUNTY 10, CINCINNATI SUMMIT 0 – Senior third baseman Joe Kremer drove in three runs to pace the Camels.

Kremer singled in a run in the first, and he belted a two-run base hit during the eight-run second. Both hits were liners up the middle.

Junior second baseman Willie Cox added a two-RBI single in the second for Campbell County.

Camels junior right-hander Kyle Becker threw a four-hitter for his first win of the season.
