Arlinghaus breaks team mark against Ryle

Conner coach Brad Arlinghaus set the school record for coaching wins as his Cougars beat Ryle, 5-1 on Monday.

The win gave Arlinghaus 131 for his career, surpassing former coach Scott Thomas’ record of 130.

Senior right-hander Cameron Ross went the distance for the Cougars, allowing just two hits and fanning 10.

Senior catcher Blake Hart gave Conner a 4-0 with a two-run double in the fifth.

This was the first district-seeding game for both teams.
