Junior right-hander Karlie Shackelford scattered three hits to earn a shutout in Brossart’s first game of the season, a 16-0 win over Dayton on Monday.
Shackelford also doubled home two runs during the nine-run fourth inning, and sophomore catcher Amanda Lloyd followed with a two-run triple.
Senior third baseman Allie Anstead added a two-run single in the fifth inning to seal it.
