Ludlow set a school record with 21 3-pointers on 39 attempts in a 102-54 win over Silver Grove on Wednesday.

Senior guard Jerad Howard also established a Panthers single-season treys record, knocking down 11 and beating the previous record by one.

Howard was 11-for-20 from behind the arc, led all scorers with 39 points including a 15-point second quarter, and he grabbed 12 rebounds.

Senior guard Geoffrey Thornsburg added five more treys as he ended the night with 18 points.

Junior guard Anthony Turcios paced the Big Trains with 14 points.

DIXIE HEIGHTS 53, COOPER 44 – Colonels senior guard Brandon Hatton and junior guard Liam Rabe hit eight fourth-quarter free throws to help seal it.

Hatton was 5-for-6 and Rabe 3 of 4 in the final period as Dixie Heights combined to go 13-for-17 at the foul line in the last stanza.

Hatton led all scorers with 15 points and Rabe finished with 11.

Jaguars senior guard Zach McNeil totaled 14 points.

BEECHWOOD 67, VILLA MADONNA 47 – Senior guard Max Shover posted a season-best 21 points, and he dished for five assists to pace the Tigers.

Shover recorded nine of his points in the second quarter and eight more in the third.

Junior guard Connor Brock totaled 14 points – six of which came in the first quarter – and grabbed five rebounds.

BOONE COUNTY 62, NEWPORT 29 – Junior Junior Stockwell netted 12 points in the first quarter and 16 of his game-best 20 in the first half as the Rebels took a 30-point lead into the locker room.

Seniors Barry Ordu and Brannen McDonald added 10 points each for Boone County.

OWEN COUNTY 73, CARROLL COUNTY 46 – Sophomore guard Vince Tuftness and senior guard Hunter Trenary hit a pair of threes each in a decisive third quarter that saw the Rebels extend an eight-point halftime lead to 20.

Sophomore forward Carson Williams led Owen County in scoring with a game-best 19 points, and he grabbed 10 rebounds.

Toftness established a career high with 15 points.
