Junior Alex Combs scored 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals as Highlands beat Louisville Moore, 72-41 in the Conner Classic on Thursday.

The Bluebirds, who won their sixth straight game, will play Lexington Henry Clay at 4 p.m. on Friday.

LLOYD 66, DAYTON 55 – Juggernauts senior guard Kaitlyn Sheppard scored 14 of her game-high 28 points in the third quarter of the Stephanie Wilson Memorial Tournament at Bellevue.

Lloyd led by three points at halftime and extended its lead to nine by the start of the fourth quarter. Freshman guard Devin Cheatum helped seal it by hitting 6 of 8 free throws in the final stanza.

Cheatum finished with 18 points for the Juggernauts, who will play Newport in a semifinal at 5 p.m. on Friday.
