Senior guard Nick Rechtin hit a 3-pointer as time expired to lift St. Henry to a 63-61 win over Harrison County on Saturday.

Rechtin connected from the left sideline after the Crusaders inbounded the ball from under their own basket with 1.2 seconds remaining.

The Thorobreds had taken a one-point lead on the previous possession on a trey by junior forward Trent Thompson.

Senior center Jordan Noble scored a team-high 20 points, and Rechtin added 15, including four 3-pointers, for St. Henry.

Thompson led all scorers with 23 points.

COVINGTON CATHOLIC 68, LOUISVILLE ST. XAVIER 46 – Senior guard Nick Ruthsatz scored 20 points and dished for four assists in the Colonels’ win.

Ruthsatz scored nine points in the second quarter as CovCath jumped out to a 19-point halftime lead.

Junior forward Bo Schuh added 12 points and senior forward Nathan Wichmann chipped in 11 for the Colonels.

DIXIE HEIGHTS 51, CINCINNATI ST. XAVIER 36 – Senior guard Brandon Hatton poured in 22 points, including 15 in the second half, to pace the Pioneers.

Hatton tallied seven points in the final quarter to help put the game out of reach.

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY 60, BEECHWOOD 50 – Junior guard Jacob Huff scored 19 points for the Tigers in the losing effort at the Central Bank Shootout at Richmond Model.

Huff scored nine of his points in the second quarter, and junior guard Connor Brock poured in nine in the first quarter for Beechwood. Brock finished with 12 points.
