Sophomore forward Carly Lange scored 12 of her game-best 16 points in the first half to help Ryle build a 17-point halftime lead in a 45-37 win over Cooper on Friday.

Lange scored six points in the first quarter and six more in the second to help the Raiders win their third straight game.

Ryle sophomore guard Mallory Schwartz added six points in the opening frame on a pair of 3-pointers.

Senior guard Savannah Brinneman led the Jaguars with 11 points, including all three of the team’s treys.

VILLA MADONNA 46, CALVARY CHRISTIAN 28 – The Blue Lightning jumped out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back.

Senior forward Morgan Trusty finished with a career-best 13 points, and she grabbed seven rebounds in the Villa Madonna win.

The Blue Lightning hit all four of their 3-pointers in the second quarter – senior guard Alex Hengge and junior guard Charissa Junker knocked down two each.

Hengge rolled up 10 points and Junker chipped in nine as Villa Madonna won its third straight game after an 0-2 start.

WALTON-VERONA 45, WILLIAMSTOWN 38 – Senior guard Shelby Mullikin hit four free throws in the fourth quarter to help seal the Bearcats’ win.

Walton-Verona drained nine of its 12 foul shots in the final period.

Junior guard Alie Mills led the Bearcats in scoring with 11 points.

Ludlow freshman center Haley Warndorf recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
