Senior forward Zach McNeil hit a free throw with 0.5 seconds left to lift Cooper to a 41-40 win over Simon Kenton on Tuesday.

Junior forward Colin Hathorn led the Jaguars in scoring with 10 points, and McNeil finished with eight – all in the second half.

Pioneers junior guard/forward tallied a game-high 12 points.

HOLY CROSS 77, LLOYD 76 – Indians sophomore guard Leighton Schrand hit 4 of 5 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

Schrand scored 10 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. Holy Cross went 11-for-13 from the foul line in the final stanza.

Indians junior guard Jared Seibert led all scorers with 23 points, and sophomore forward Tyler Bezold rolled up 19.

Freshman guard Lashunn Townsend tallied 21 points for the Juggernauts.

COVINGTON CATHOLIC 60, DAYTON CHAMINADE-JULIENNE 48 – Senior guard Nick Ruthsatz scored nine fourth-quarter points to help the Colonels seal it.

Ruthsatz was 6-for-6 from the foul line and drained a 3-pointer in the final period. He led all scorers with 22 points.

Senior forward Nate Wichmann added all eight of his points in the last stanza, knocking down all four of his foul shots and going 2-for-3 from the field as CovCath remained unbeaten.

CAMPBELL COUNTY 78, CONNER 71 – Junior guard DeAndre Jackson hit three straight free throws in the closing minutes to ice the win for the Camels.

Senior guard Corey Holbrook led four Campbell County players in double digits with a game-high 27 points, including 12 in the first quarter, and he dished for seven assists. Jackson finished with 24 points.

BOONE COUNTY 66, SCOTT 54 – Rebels junior guard Brenden Stanley led all scorers with 27 points, including nine in the fourth quarter.

Scott came back in the third quarter, courtesy of a 13-2 run to open the second half, but with the score tied at 45, Stanley buried the Rebels’ lone 3-pointer at the end of the frame to give his team the lead for good. Stanley also tallied six steals, four assists and four blocks.

Junior guard Brett Mayberry also helped Boone County close the game out with six fourth-period points.

Junior center Junior Stockwell added 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Rebels.
