Sophomore setter Lindsay Leick dished for 40 assists and served for nine aces as Brossart (16-12) defeated Harrison County (18-8), 24-26, 25-17, 25-7, 25-17 on Tuesday.

Senior outside hitter Marissa Frommeyer rolled up 11 kills, five aces and 14 digs, and senior middle hitter Alex Hinkel finished with 10 kills and four aces as the Mustangs won their third straight match.

COOPER BEATS CAMPBELL – Freshmen outside hitter Rebecca Ruppel and middle hitter Katie Smith finished with eight kills each as Cooper (22-5) defeated Campbell County (16-12), 25-20, 25-18.

Ruppel also notched eight digs. Junior setter Julia Klute led the Jaguars in assists with 24.

SCOTT EDGES HOLY CROSS IN 4 – Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Tapp amassed 15 kills and 12 digs as Scott (20-11) defeated Holy Cross (11-17), 19-25, 26-24, 25-13, 25-18.

Sophomore outside hitter Holly Kallmeyer had 16 digs in addition to seven kills, and junior setter Jenna Trimpe picked up 37 assists and 14 digs in the Eagles’ eighth straight win.

ST. HENRY TOPS BEECHWOOD – Sophomore middle hitter Janell Tobler notched seven kills and a pair of blocks as St. Henry (22-8) defeated Beechwood (11-6), 25-19, 25-19.

Junior middle hitter Karly Lehmkuhl added four kills and 11 digs as the Crusaders won their fourth consecutive match and improved to 14-1 in their last 15.

SIMON KENTON TOO MUCH FOR WALTON – Junior middle hitter Haley Robinson racked up 10 kills as Simon Kenton (23-7) defeated Walton-Verona (18-11), 25-16, 25-16, 25-11.

Pioneers senior setter Sophie Dunn added 26 assists, and junior outside hitter Ellie Smith chipped in seven aces and five kills.

DIXIE DOWNS GRANT – Senior setter Monica Dietz served for six aces as Dixie Heights (10-22) defeated Grant County (11-15), 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Seventh-grade outside hitter Leah Metzger added eight aces for the Colonels.

VILLA SINKS SILVER GROVE – Senior middle hitter Ellie Stoddart rolled up 13 kills as Villa Madonna (10-6) beat Silver Grove (3-15), 25-12, 25-10.

Junior setter Charissa Junker dished for 14 assists, and sophomore middle hitter Emma Bateman served for eight aces in the Blue Lightning win.
