Sophomore Abby Thatcher made 13 saves, but Simon Kenton fell to Oldham County, 4-0 in a Region 8 semifinal at Shelby County on Tuesday.

The Pioneers had recorded five straight shutouts entering this match against the unbeaten Colonels.

HALFTIME: 2-0. GOALS: OC—Cohen, Massey, Kemper, Houk. SHUTOUT: Mason (1 save). RECORDS: Oldham County 20-0-1, Simon Kenton 11-8-4.
