Notre Dame allowed just 21 points in a best-of-3 series as the Pandas (15-3) defeated Campbell County (16-10), 25-9, 25-12 on Wednesday.
Senior setter Elly Ogle led the Pandas with 24 assists, and senior middle hitter Heidi Thelen racked up eight kills.
SIMON KENTON SINKS LLOYD – Senior outside hitter tallied 15 kills as Simon Kenton (22-6) defeated Lloyd (10-10), 25-10, 25-13, 25-10.
Senior setter Sophie Dunn dished for 28 assists for the Pioneers.
BROSSART BEATS NEWPORT – Sophomore outside hitter Emma Verst served for 16 aces as Brossart (14-12) defeated Newport (0-10), 25-7, 25-4, 25-8.
Sophomore setter Lindsay Leick added 26 assists and four kills, and senior outside hitter Marissa Frommeyer tallied 12 kills in the Mustangs’ win.
DIXIE DOWNS HOLMES – Dixie Heights (8-21) beat Holmes (2-15), 25-9, 25-13, 25-3.
Junior middle hitter Bailey Staderman and seventh-grade outside hitter Leah Metzger each finished with seven kills to lead the Colonels.
