Senior middle blocker Heidi Thelen finished with 11 kills as Notre Dame (18-4) defeated St. Henry (22-6), 25-18, 25-16, 25-20 on Thursday.

Senior defensive specialist Meredith Klare totaled 24 digs for the Pandas.

COOPER TOO MUCH FOR SIMON KENTON – Senior middle hitter Hannah Reid rolled up nine kills and three blocks as Cooper (23-5) defeated Simon Kenton (23-8), 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.

Jaguars freshman outside hitter Rebecca Ruppel finished with eight kills and 17 digs, and junior setter Julia Klute dished for 33 assists.

Senior outside hitter Kaitlin Murray led the Pioneers with 10 kills, and senior setter Sophie Dunn chipped in 27 assists.

RYLE NEEDS 4 TO TOP CAMPBELL – Junior outside hitter Ashley Bush notched 14 kills as Ryle (29-3) defeated Campbell County (16-13), 25-18, 18-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Bush’s sister – freshman outside hitter Hayley Bush – added 11 kills, and senior setter Harper Hempel dished for 11 assists in the Raiders’ 15th straight win.

BROSSART DOWNS DAYTON – Senior outside hitter Marissa Frommeyer tallied nine kills and 18 digs as Brossart (19-12) defeated Dayton (12-11), 25-5, 25-11, 25-20.

Senior middle hitter Alex Hinkel also recorded nine kills for the Blue Lightning, and junior right side hitter Briana Schnieders added six aces and three kills.

BOONE BESTS DIXIE – Junior outside hitter Katie Grant amassed 11 kills and nine aces as Boone County (15-13) defeated Dixie Heights (11-23), 25-11, 25-16, 25-21.

Sophomore setter Alli Borders chipped in with 25 assists, six kills and four blocks for the Rebels.

BEECHWOOD BEATS LATIN – Sophomore outside hitter Liz Pawsat smashed eight kills as Beechwood (12-6) defeated Covington Latin (4-13), 25-11, 25-10.

Tigers senior setter Jenna Fessler finished with nine assists and three kills, and eighth-grade setter Gabby Ogle tacked on four assists and an ace.

SCOTT SINKS WALTON – Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Tapp rolled up 13 kills as Scott (22-11) defeated Walton-Verona (18-14), 2-games-to-none.

Junior setter Jenna Trimpe earned 24 assists and 10 digs in the Eagles’ win.
