Anderson senior Josh Correll was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 5, picking up 11,898 votes (49.5 percent).
The Redskins’ defensive back by coming up with a pick six for a second straight week and picking up a fumble to boot to go along with 8.5 tackles in the team’s win over Milford.
Correll edged out Wyoming’s Griffin O’Gara to win the award. Charlie Mullins of Newport finished third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with 24,179 votes casted.
