Bengals to decide on Ky. camp by Friday

CINCINNATI - The Bengals are getting back to work after the NFL lockout ended.

Team owner Mike Brown said current Bengals players are heading back to Paul Brown Stadium for physicals Thursday morning and training camp will start Friday night in Georgetown, Ky. The team will hold its first practice scrimmages of the 2011 season on Saturday.

This season, the Bengals will be without one of their main pieces after Coach Marvin Lewis and Brown announced Tuesday that quarterback Carson Palmer will not be on the roster. In the season-opening conference Lewis said Palmer is "retired" in his eyes and will not be traded.

Negotiations are still underway to fill the rest of the Bengals' roster.
