CINCINNATI – If FC Cincinnati hosts a first-round playoff game, it will be played at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at Nippert Stadium, the club announced Friday.

That's an off day for the Bengals, by the way.

The top four teams in each United Soccer League conference get a home game for the first round. Cincinnati, which has clinched a playoff spot, is third in a tight Eastern Conference, one point ahead of Charlotte and two ahead of Richmond and Rochester.

Season-ticket holders get first crack at playoff tickets, the club said. They will be invited to log on to their online accounts to purchase seats or call 513-977-KICK.

Season ticket deposit holders for 2017 will be next in line based on availability. FC Cincinnati is accepting $50 deposits for the club’s second season at fccincinnati.com.

The general public will be invited to buy remaining playoff tickets online or by phone.

Information on playoff ticket prices and priority purchase windows will be announced later this month, the club said.
